Elizabeth Dove is an artist residing in Missoula, Montana where she is a Professor in the School of Art at the University of Montana. She maintains an active professional exhibition record with fifteen solo exhibitions in the past decade, including a recent show There is Never a Right Answer at the Lessedra Gallery in Sofia, Bulgaria and birthweight at the Missoula Art Museum in 2007. During this same period Dove exhibited in more than 100 group shows across 24 states as well as in England, Japan, Poland, France, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Jordan, Cyprus, and Scotland.
Elizabeth has conducted extensive research into non–toxic printmaking processes, taught dozens of workshops at colleges and universities, received funding to study the integration of digital technology and traditional printmaking practices, and has published her research in the books “The Contemporary Printmaker" and “Non–toxic Intaglio Printmaking", and the British journal “Printmaking Today". Dove received her BFA from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, and her MFA from Vermont College.
